Barbara Ann Abney

Barbara Ann Abney , age 81, of Braselton passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018.  Mrs. Abney loved her family, animals especially horses and NASCAR. Survivors include her son Steve Abney and wife Britany of Braselton; brothers Kenneth Ashcraft and Moman Ashcraft both of TX; sisters Linda Roberts of AR; granddaughter Alisha Smith and husband Jimmy; great grandchildren Lennae Smith, Logan Abney and Jimmy Smith, Jr.  She is preceded in death by her husband Lonnie Abney.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Lawson Funeral Home.  Pastor Mark Gravitt will be officiating.  Interment to follow at the Hoschton City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.  Arrangements by Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA, 30548, www.lawsonfuneralhome.org, 706-654-0966.
