Brenda K. Carter

Brenda Kay Carter, age 59, of Edinburg, TX, passed away on April 7, 2026, at Edinburg Nursing and Rehab, where she had been a resident for several years.

Brenda cherished her quiet moments watching her favorite show, criminal minds, sharing laughter with her grandchildren while playing board games and reliving the simple joys of Mayberry with Andy Griffith.

She is preceded in death by her father, Clyde King; sister, Debra Peppers; husband, David Carter; and son, Aaron Whitlock.

Brenda is survived by her loving mother, Joy King; son, SPC Bradley Bennett and wife Lisa, and their children Gage and Callie; grandson, Tyler Eaden; granddaughters, Bailey and Bethany; brother, Grail King and wife Deena; sister, Stacy Page and husband Russell; She had several nieces and nephews She will be greatly missed by extended family and friends.
