Brenda Sue Ford

Brenda Sue Ford, born on June 13, 1949, peacefully departed this life on January 11, 2026. Brenda was a loving matriarch whose heart was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She took great joy in their lives, cherishing every moment spent together.

Brenda shared a special bond with her identical twin, Linda, a relationship that brought her immense happiness throughout her life. She was also deeply involved with her church family, where her kindness and warm spirit touched many lives. Those who knew Brenda will remember her for her vibrant personality and her love of shopping and exploring her community.

She leaves behind her beloved son, Richard Ford, and his wife, Jan; her cherished daughter, Tracey Wood, and her husband, John. Brenda is also survived by her brothers, Barry Mayhue and John Mayhue, and her sister, Linda Faith. Her legacy will continue through her grandchildren, Robert Pankey, Meagan F. Harper, Travis Pankey, and Eric Ford, as well as her great-grandchildren, Carter, Harlow, Rory, Owen, and Liam.

Brenda joins her husband of 58 years Harvey Ford, parents, Clarence and Evelyn Mayhue, as well as her sisters, Glenda Mayhue and Debra Mayhue, in eternal rest. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Chris Stephens and Pastor Jon Fennell. Interment to follow at Hoschton City Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at the funeral home.
