Carl Wayne Holbrook , 59 of Winder entered into rest on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jayne Holbrook; parents, Kenneth and Charlotte Holbrook; brother, Robert Holbrook.
Carl is survived by his sister, Cathie (Craig) Schuman; daughter, Jessica Lynn Wynch; granddaughter, Hannah (Japeth) Wagner and great-granddaughter, who all brought him great joy. Carl also leaves behind a host of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Carl will be remembered for his lasting devotion to his family, his quiet strength, his handyman work and his infamous long brown hair. Carl enjoyed learning and teaching about his Cherokee Indian Heritage.
In lieu of flowers, family ask to consider donating to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention or a Local Food Bank.
