Deborah Annette Rice

Deborah Annette Rice, born on July 7, 1962, passed away on September 19, 2026. She will be remembered with love by those who knew her and by the family who held her close throughout her life.

Deborah was the daughter of Ed Rice Sr. and Betty Jean Rich. She shared a lifelong bond with her family and leaves behind many who will continue to cherish her memory. She is survived by her brothers, Gary Rice of Lawrenceville and Randall Rice of Auburn; her sisters, Donna Bentley of Social Circle and Lynn Knight of Auburn; and by her parents, Ed Rice Sr. and Betty Jean Rich. She is also lovingly remembered by Gary’s wife, Stephanie; Randall’s wife, Donna; Donna Bentley’s husband, Bruce; and Lynn’s husband, Michael. Together, they mourn her passing and hold dear the place she will always have in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Rice Jr.

As her family grieves this loss, they also give thanks for Deborah’s life and for the enduring connection of family that remains her legacy. May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her and peace in the days ahead.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, September 25, 2026, at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Auburn City Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev.
