Debra “Debbie” L. Sweet-Teague

Debra (Debbie) L. Sweet-Teague , age 72, of Jefferson passed away on Wednesday October 5, 2022. Originally from Louisville KY, she lived in Garner NC for 17 years co-owning and managing a motorcycle shop.  She was so good at her business that she could name the make and model of a bike just by hearing it drive by.  She moved to Georgia in 1986 and met her husband Jerry the following year.  They were both car enthusiasts and enjoyed the outdoors. She is survived by her husband Jerry Teague; daughter Debora J. Funk, son-in-law Corey and grandchildren Lenna & Noah; stepchildren Crystal, Michelle, Jonas and Rachel.  Sisters Sharon, Theresa, Gina along with brothers Tom, Steve, Joe and Toby with a host of relatives from Kentucky and Georgia.   She was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Geri Sweet; and stepdaughter Genea.  A memorial service is planned at Arcade Congregational Holiness Church on Saturday October 15th at 4pm.
