Dora Cleo McCartt

Dora Cleo McCartt, age 80, of Hoschton, Georgia, peacefully left this world on February 11, 2026. Born on February 17, 1945, Dora led a life filled with love and devotion to her family, friends, and the community.

She is survived by her cherished son, Travis McCartt, and her beloved daughter, Yvonne Davis, along with her husband, Jerry. Dora took great pride in her family, which was further enriched by the presence of her four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. These relationships brought her profound joy and fulfillment, and she reveled in the laughter and memories created with each generation.

Dora was welcomed into eternal rest by her parents, General and Vertie Miracle, her husband, William J. McCartt, and her son, William J. McCartt Jr. She is also preceded in death by her brother and seven sisters, who were significant figures in her life.

A visitation will be held in her honor at Lawson Funeral Home in Hoschton on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate her remarkable life.
