Elbert Stanley Best

Elbert Stanley Best , age 68, of Braselton passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013.  Stan was in the milk business for over 30 years, he retired from Quality Food and was a Free Mason. Wood working and hunting was a favorite past time of his.  He loved his family and served in the Army.  He is survived by his beloved partner Joyce Brock Lee of Braselton; sons Lee Best and Sonya of Braselton, Greg Best and Laura Lynn Martinez of Auburn; daughters Sanya Hardigree and Robert of Winder, Kimberly Valentin and Jose of Pooler; brothers Junior Best, Burle Best and Randall Best all of AL; sisters Wendy Williamson and Barbara Sue Lowery both of AL; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his wife Maxine Best and son Clifton Best. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the chapel of Lawson Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, March 1, 2013.  Pastor Tommy Baker will be officiating.  Pallbears are Cliff Best, Justin Best, Jose Valentin, Robert Hardigree, Michael Best and Josh Hardigree.  Interment to follow at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 2570 Harbins Rd, Dacula, GA. Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA 30548, 706-654-0966, www.lawsonfuneralhome.org .
