Ellen Glover McMullan

Ellen Glover McMullan, 85, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by loving family and friends, on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

Ellen was born in Tampa, FL on July 3, 1941. Her family relocated throughout the Southeast during her childhood, and she graduated from Atlanta’s Northside Highschool. In 1962, she married Charlie Ware McMullan Jr and together they raised their two daughters in Tampa, Fl.

Ellen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed a busy lifestyle of tennis, golf and the occasional lemon drop martini. Spending time with those she loved, whether on the beach or in the mountains, brought her great joy. Throughout her life, Ellen was known for her kind friendship and also proudly answered to the names of Grandmommy and Geeda.

After retiring, Ellen and Charlie moved to Skylake in Sautee Nacoochee, GA. Georgia reclaimed their hearts and they enjoyed making cherished memories with friends and family.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, John Abraham and Ellen Maddox Glover, and her beloved husband Charlie Ware McMullan Jr.

She is survived by her children Ellen McMullan Cardin (Brian) and Patricia Louise Kaiser (Corey); grandchildren Emily Ellen Cardin Brewer (Michael), Kathryn Cardin Curtis (Dustin), Ryan Grace Kaiser and Cade Michael Kaiser; and great-grandson Weldon LaDon Curtis. They will carry her memory and love with them always.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Nacoochee Presbyterian Church, Sautee Nacoochee, GA.
