Grace Mauldin Yaughn

Grace Mauldin Yaughn, age 89, of Braselton was born August 7, 1931 to the late Clarence Allen and Etta Clark Mauldin, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020. Grace loved her family.  She enjoyed sitting outside watching the hummingbirds.  In her spare time she enjoyed watching the Braves baseball games, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, word searches and reading.  She even took time to enjoy the mountains.  Survivors include her son Scott Yaughn and wife Vickie; grandchildren Etta Yaughn and Lucas Yaughn; grand dogs Daisy and Bandit; nephews Johnny Bell, Jeff Mauldin and Greg Mauldin; niece Terri Moss and a host of other relatives.  She is preceded in death by her husband CJ Yaughn; sisters Ruth Brewer and Thelma Bell and  brother Gene Mauldin.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.  Dr. Carlton Allen will be officiating.  Interment to follow at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Braselton, GA.  The family will receive friends 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the funeral home.  Arrangements by Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA, 30548, www.lawsonfuneralhome.org, 706-654-0966.
