Grady Howard Waters, Jr.

Grady Howard Waters, Jr., age 57, of Monroe passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023.  He loved his animals Tessa, Buster, Peanut, Kyra, Patches and Casper.  Racing was his passion and  loved watching NASCAR  as well as the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves.  He also enjoyed planting a garden every year.  Grady was in the construction field and loved his line of work.  He enjoyed anytime he could spend with his family.  Survivors include his spouse Tammy McDaniel; sons Ricky Waters and wife Jessica, Jeffrey Edmondson and Tyler McDaniel; daughters Brandie Waters and Antonio Martinez, April Dove and Cameron, bonus daughter Anastasia Dove; brothers Ricky Griffith and Richard Griffith; sisters Kathy Hand, Earnestine Eidson, Linda Anderson, Ann Sheffield, Elaine Carter and Tina Griffith and a host of other relatives. He was preceded in death by his wife Vickie Waters; father Grady Waters, Sr.; mother Mary Bussey and brother Ben Griffith.  Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.  Pastor Frankie Green will be officiating.
