Gus Steve Jackson Sr.

Gus Steve Jackson Sr., age 64, of Winder passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020.  Gus loved his family, loved the bible, loved sports especially wrestling, and he loved to fish.  Survivors include his wife of 34 years Velvet Jackson; sons Gus Steve Jackson Jr. of Winder, Robert Stanley Jackson of Winder, Howard Nathaniel Jackson and wife Crystal of Statham, Timothy Lawrence Jackson and wife Crystal of Winder; daughter Becca Ann Marie Jackson and husband Hunter; sisters Tina Henry of Atlanta, Lana Merritt and husband Ray of Douglasville, Vanessa N. Jackson of Atlanta, Lisa Blackman and husband Billy of Atlanta; 13 grandchildren.  Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment to follow at Hoschton City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, July 28, 2020; 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 29, 2020; 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Thursday, July 30, 2020 at the funeral home.  Arrangements by Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA 30548, www.lawsonfuneralhome.org, 706-654-0966.
