Harry "Buddy" Erwin Talmadge Jr.

Harry “Buddy” Erwin Talmadge, Jr., age 82, of Dillard, passed away Sat., Oct. 24, 2026. Buddy was born and raised in Athens, Ga.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanie Lord Talmadge; son, Trey Harry “Trey” Erwin Talmadge III and wife Amy of VA; stepdaughters Meredith Jackson-Little DeGraffenried Georgia, and husband Jeff of NC; Mandy Scoggins and husband Dean of Georgia; grandchildren Rebecca Talmadge, Rachel Talmadge, both of AR, Sage Jackson of KS, Asa Whitten of AL, Chris Scoggins, Caroline Scoggins, Gaines Scoggins, all of GA, and a host of other relatives.

Preceded in death by his first wife, Carole Talmadge; his parents, Harry Erwin Talmadge, Sr. and Madelyn Smith Talmadge; sister, Masie Talmadge Underwood; and brother-in-law, Edmond Underwood, Jr.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
