Hazel Ferree Forbes

Hazel Ferree Forbes , age 87, of Hoschton passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 peacefully while under Hospice care. Mrs. Forbes originally from Shelby, NC but spent most of her life in Columbus, GA. She was a retired employee for the Federal Civil Service in Ft. Benning, GA.  She is survived by her son Tom David Farnell of Hoschton; grandson Brian David Farnell of Hoschton; step grandsons Robert Lynn Shoemaker and Claire of Gainesville and Anthony Lee Shoemaker of Gainesville; brothers John Ernest Ferree, Jr., Charles Harvey Ferree and Jack Wilton Ferree all of North Carolina. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Second Baptist Church in Shelby, NC.  Interment to follow at Cleveland Memorial Park Cemetery.  Dr. Reginald Dalkins will be officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral services at the church.
