Hazel Campbell Gunter

Hazel Campbell Gunter , age 72, of Homer passed away Friday, December 13, 2019.  Hazel loved her grandchildren and her family.  She loved gospel music, loved to sew, to shop and loved to use the phone.  Survivors include her husband William Gunter; sons Donald William Gunter Jr. of Braselton, Robert Terrell Gunter of Grayson, Matthew Scott Gunter and wife Amanda of Homer; daughter Wanda Suzanne Johnson and husband Anthony of Mt. Airy; brothers Buddy Calvin Campbell of Gainesville, Joe Campbell and wife Dena of South Carolina; sisters Marilyn Savage and husband Wilton of Talmo, Janice Campbell of Martin; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and host of other relatives.  Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.  Pastor Tim Strickland will be officiating.  Interment to follow at Walnut Fork Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the funeral home.  Funeral arrangements by Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA 30548, www.lawsonfuneralhome.org, 706-654-0966.
