James Ernest Collins

Ernest Collins, age 88, of Winder passed away Monday, February 24, 2014. He was the owner of Collins Used Cars and the proud PaPa of Nicole and Jim. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Nell Wallace Collins; son James Collins and wife Pat of Rome, GA; grandchildren Nicole Collins and Jim Collins; nieces and nephews and good friends Joe and Mary. He was preceded in death by his daughter Janice Collins; sons Jerry Collins and Joe Collins. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Brock Burdett will be officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at the funeral home.
