James Donald Kilgore

James Donald Kilgore , age 85 of Hoschton passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023. James played football and baseball in high school and later found a love for golf ! He is survived by his wife Marsha Kilgore; daughter Karen Lee; sister Donnas K. McGlashan and husband Peter; grandchildren Jessica Lee, Sean Lee, Christopher Lee; 4 great grandchildren; stepsons Maitland Davidson and Matthew Davidson; step grandchildren Hunter Davidson, Maegan Davidson, Maura Davidson, Morgan Davison, Marin Davidson; and 1 step great grandchild. James was preceded in death by his parents John L. Kilgore and Clementine Burgess Kilgore; brothers Chester L. Kilgore and wife Betty, Clifford R. Kilgore and wife Betty, Dennis Kilgore and wife Margorie; and sister Jewel K. Barnett and husband Ray. A Memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, December 7, 2023 at the Hoschton Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Cory Sexton. Inurnment to follow on December 8, 2023 at 9:00 am at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Ga. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Hoschton Baptist Church.
