James David Sinclair

James David Sinclair , age 76, of Winder passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 20, 2020.  Jim was born on October 1, 1943 in Midland, MI to Robert and Louise Sinclair.  Jim served in the US Air Force where he was stationed in France and met the love of his life Arlette LeCompte Sinclair.  They married June 1, 1963.  After the military Jim worked for Michigan Bell as a communications engineer.  He loved his country and was a proud veteran, he loved war history, the old west, horses and reading.  He was a 32nd degree mason and a member of the masonic lodge in MI.  Jim was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family dearly.  Survivors include wife of 57 years Arlette; son James and wife Penny of Ft. Worth, TX; daughter Elizabeth Beam and husband Jeff of Winder; brother Clyde Sinclair and wife Debbie of Michigan; sister Marylou Winkler and husband Jack of Tennessee; son-in-law Robert Bezotte.  Grandchildren Jessica, Travis, Clinton, Debra, Laura, Austin Beam and wife Sam, Zack Beam and wife Jeanette.  Great Grandchildren Leo, Zane, Joshua, Benjamin, September, Naveah, Salah, Emmaclair, Ben, Madilyn, Christian, Christopher, Angel, Joey, Kaylie, Colton, Jaylen.  Jim is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Louise Sinclair; daughter Arlette; brother Robert (Bobby) and his wife Joyce.  Funeral service will be held 2:30 PM, Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, GA 30114.  Arrangements by Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA 30548, www.lawsonfuneralhome,org, 706-654-0966.
