Jerry Lee Motes

Jerry Lee Motes, age 75 of Hull, Ga., passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Jerry loved to work, eat good home cooking, and most of all his family. He is survived by his sons Alex Lane and wife Carroll, Joe Motes and wife Rebecca; brothers David Motes and Ernest Motes; sisters Shirley Moon and Barbara Bridges; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; nieces; nephews; great nieces; great nephews; and a host of other relatives. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Lucille Motes; wife Vickie Motes; daughter Angela Price; sister Patsy Wheless. A Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 pm, Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating the service will be Montie Ray Robinson. Interment cremation. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to 1025 Church Statham in Jerry’s memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
