Jimmie Lee Hulsey

This week we have lost our matriarch, Jimmie Lee Hulsey, age 78, of Buford, Ga. Ronnie's Baby, Todd and Scott's Mama, Becky and my Jimmie (me the thorn in her side but we loved each other), Nana, Nana Jimmie, sister to Brenda, Jerrell and Michele, Thomas, Connie and Mickey, Vickie and Chris, Jean, Jackie and Tommy, aunt to so many I can't name you all.
She loved every minute with all of her family, could not get enough time with everyone. She was lovingly married to her husband for fifty years whom she loved very much. She was strong, kind, thoughtful, loving, and a straight shooter (you never had to wonder what Jimmie thought). She worked hard all her life.
Her heartbeat for you if she loved you. She had faith that God would always see her through and He has. He has broken her free of the body that could no longer exist here. No more pain, no more health issues. She loved to hold babies.
She loved some good fried chicken and sweet tea. We will miss you, Nana Jimmie, but we're going to love all these babies and each other until we see you again. We're going to live it just like you'd want us to, in peace, love, and faith. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one day prior to the service from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.
