Johnny Howard Clark, aged 75, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025. Born on July 4, 1950, Johnny touched the lives of many throughout his journey. His deep love for fishing and hunting was matched only by his passion for storytelling, which brought joy and laughter to those around him. For Johnny, Twin Lakes was not just a location; it was a cherished home away from home where many memories were crafted.
He is warmly remembered by his beloved wife of 55 years, Debbie Clark, and his three children: Shane (Jennifer) Clark, Corey Clark, and Cobie Clark (Alex), all of Winder. Johnny was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Kaela (Allen) Willard of Pendergrass, Taylor (Neal) Garrett, Kerri (Drew) Hill, Brandon (Sabrina) Chamberlain, Lindsey (James) Rusu, Dustin (Abby) Clark, all of Winder, and Lauren (Will) Blair of Kentucky. Adding to his legacy are his great-grandchildren, Bryson, Micah, Kylie, Aiden, Jaxton, Saylor, and Emma, who brought immense joy to his later years.
Johnny is also survived by his siblings: Martha (Clay) Johnson of Campton, Jimmy (Linda) Clark, Billy (Rose), Patsy (Leon), Linda McCarty, and Mary (Phil), all of Winder. He leaves behind a multitude of nieces and nephews who cherished their time with him.
He was predeceased by his parents, J.W. and Lillie Clark, whose memories he honored throughout his life. Johnny's favorite saying, "Who's the baddest of em all?" remains a testament to his playful spirit and zest for life.
