Jose Henry Wing

Jose Henry Wing, age 68, of Lula, Georgia passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 14, 2026. Henry was a free-spirited and industrious man who took pride in the fruits of his hard work. His greatest joy was being his own boss and completing difficult projects with his hands and favorite tools. As a lover of animals and nature, Mr. Wing found the most peace with the land and God’s creation. Though many joked he was indestructible, he now rests in the arms of his Creator. May he live on in the memories of all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Wing is survived by his wife Thea McKenna of Atlanta, GA; son, Jason Richard Wing and his wife Azar Lynn Kohzadi of Denver, CO; daughter, Kristen Ingrid Wing Stevenson and her husband Nick Stevenson of Jefferson, GA; Brother Roberto Wing, Guatemala; sister, Mimi Garcia, Acworth, GA; sister, Francis Wing, Roswell, GA; sister, Laura Paz-Santamaria and her husband Pat Santamaria, Roswell, GA; grandchildren, Robert Lucas Stevenson, Evelyn Avery Stevenson, and Helena Anousheh Kohzadi-Wing, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death but reunited in heaven by his brothers Aldo Wing, John Wing, and his beloved parents Isaac Roberts Wing and Luisa Yolanda Wing.

Private graveside service will be held Thursday June 25th at 11:15 am at the Roswell Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Dr. Scott Weimer officiating.
