Lewis Parker Couch, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on June 16, 2026. Born on July 8, 1949, Mr. Couch lived a life marked by devotion to his family and a heartfelt passion for the simple joys of life. His love for Georgia Football, the beach, being outdoors, NASCAR, country music, and dancing brought warmth and happiness not only to his own life but to those around him.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones for visitation at Lawson Funeral Home, located at 4532 Highway 53 in Hoschton, Georgia 30548, on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. 

Lewis is survived by his loving mother, Mary Jean Wofford; his devoted wife, Barbara L. Couch; and his son Kevin Couch and wife Bernadette of Flowery Branch. He also leaves behind his daughters Caroline McKinney of Dacula and Pam Stinchcomb along with her husband Tony. His sister Mary Ellen Etheridge of Silver Hill, Alabama, holds a special place in the family’s heart as well.

His legacy endures through his grandchildren Morgan, Merrick, Wylder, Wyatt, Willow, Jenna, and Jake, as well as his great-grandchildren Wylie, Willow Jane, Valley, and Scottie, who carry forward his spirit and love.

Lewis was preceded in death by his father, Edward Couch; his brother, Jimmy Couch; and granddaughters Jordan and Jessie, whose memories remain deeply treasured.

Throughout his life, Lewis remained a figure of gentle strength, goodwill, and joyful enthusiasm, embodying the values of family and friendship. His passions, from the excitement of Georgia Football games to serene moments at the beach, will continue to inspire those who knew him. Mr. Couch was also a United States Army veteran, who loved his country. 

As we gather to remember Lewis Parker Couch, we reflect on a life well-lived, a legacy of love shared, and the indelible impact left on every heart he touched. He will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
