Martha Ruth Buffington

Martha Ruth Buffington , age 96, of Hoschton passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014. She was a native Atlantan and lived in Hall County since 1980 and was a member of Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church in East Point, GA. Mrs. Buffington was the daughter of the late John William and Ollie Kidd Tankersley and was married  62 years to the late Emmett Howard Buffington.  She was survived by her daughter Carol Ann Nation and husband David of Hoschton; sons William Edward and wife Nancy Buffington, Robert Howard Buffington and wife Gloria; grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death her grandchildren Donna Lynn Buffington, William Edward Buffington, Jr. and great grandson Caleb Nation.  Graveside Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Lebanon Perpetual Care, 3396 Gillsville Hwy, Gainesville, GA, 30507.  Rev. Russell Harbin will be officiating.  The family will receive friends 8:30 am to 10:30 am Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Lawson Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Eagle Ranch, P.O.
