Marvin Terry Conner “Terry”

Marvin Terry Conner , age 62, of Winder passed away Friday, October 21, 2022. Terry was a member of the Christian Life Center in Braselton. Terry worked with the Barrow County Sheriff’s Department for ten years as a Detention Officer, and for Trenity Rails as a welder where he was known as “Chicken Man” for six years, and he was a farmer for many years as well. Survivors include his wife Rita Finch Conner; mother Clara Mae Conner; sisters Kathy, Vickey, Mary; and a host of nieces and nephews. Terry was preceded in death by his father Marvin Conner, brother Tony Conner. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday October 28, 2022, at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel officiating Jeff Long interment to follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday October 27, 2022, at the funeral home.
