Nancy Lee Gunn

Nancy Lee Duke Gunn , age 65, of Jefferson passed away Friday, May 13, 2016.  Nancy graduated with honors from DeKalb College with an Associates in Science and became a registered professional nurse in 1984.  She went on to work for 23 years at the Women’s Pavilion at Gwinnett Medical Center. She retired in 2006. Survivors include her husband of 43 years Rick Gunn; son Nathan Ashley Gunn and wife Kalin Gunn; daughter Erin Michelle Gunn Birch and husband Cliff Birch; sister Sandra Matson and husband John Matson ; cousin Jack Duke and wife Marylu Duke ; grandchildren Miles Birch, Brooks Birch, Isabella Gunn, Trace Gunn.  Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tracia Deal officiating.  The family will receive friends 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at nationalmssociety.org.  Arrangements by Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA, 30548, www.lawsonfuneralhome.org, 706-654-0966.
