Otis Lee Gipson

Otis Lee Gipson , age 74, of Jefferson passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016.  Otis loved flea markets, antiques and fishing.  He was a loving, hard working husband and father to his family.  Survivors include his wife of 51 years Darlene Harrison Gipson; son Wayne Gipson and wife Melody of Winder; daughters Tracy Gore and husband Kirk of Clermont, Stacey Vaughn and husband Kenneth Rogers of Hoschton; brother Larry Gipson and wife Carol of PA; sisters Mary Gipson of Braselton, Maggie Allison and Nancy Neff both of Chestnut Mountain; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Blane Spence officiating.  Interment will follow at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, 3101 Poplar Springs Church Road, Gainesville, GA, 30507.  The family will receive friends 9:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers a love offering  may be made to the family.
