After years of service, Patricia retired, leaving behind a reputation for fairness and integrity.
Beyond her professional life, Patricia was known for her vibrant spirit and affection for her family. She cherished gatherings and adventures, often taking her two children camping and engaging in community activities like scouting. Her children were central to her life, and she delighted in watching them thrive as they participated in boy and girl scouts.
Patricia had a passion for Volkswagens, particularly enjoying the hands-on experience of working on them. She was an enthusiastic member of a VW club for several years and loved attending bug shows during camping trips, where she could share her enthusiasm with fellow enthusiasts.
Patricia’s personality shone brightly through her kindness and fairness, character traits that endeared her to many. She is survived by her husband, Daniel W. Carper; her daughter, Heidi Rutledge; and her cherished grandchildren, Christopher Blake Segars III, Cameron Clay Rutledge, and Tydgene Malik Brown.
She is predeceased by her mother, Patricia A. Coward; her son, Daniel Carper; and two brothers.
