Pearl Irene Brookshire

Pearl Irene Brookshire , age 91, of Gainesville, GA passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015.  Pearl was a great cook, had a passion for gardening and enjoyed the beauty of her flowers.  Pearl had a talent for sewing as well.   She was survived by her sons James Reeves of Gainesville, Bobby Brookshire of Gainesville, Robert Brookshire and wife Sherron of Hoschton, Randall Brookshire and wife Dorothy of Murrayville; grandchildren Amanda, Tyler, Kayla and Clynton and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Willie Taft Brooksire, son Larry Brookshire, brothers Clyde Reeves, Joe Reeves, Web Reeves, Egbert Reeves; sisters Lula Maddox, Viola Reeves, Jessie Sims and Maude Reeves.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will be held at Hopewell Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the funeral home.  Funeral arrangements by Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA, 30548, www.lawsonfuneralhome.org, 706-654-0966.
