Phyllis Jean Hatton

Phyllis Jean Hatton , age 69, of Commerce passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015.  Ms. Hatton was a quilter along with other hobbies including arts and crafts.  She loved her grandchildren dearly.  Ms. Hatton also had a taste for drinking pickle juice.  She was survived by her mother Maudaline “Nannaw” Fisher; son Stephen E. Hatton, II and wife Dena of Winder; daughter MeShawn Hatton-Murphy and husband Richard of Commerce; sister Brenda Waggoner of KY; grandchildren Christopher Hatton and wife Brittany, Auston Hatton, Ashton Hatton, Nicole Murphy, Elizabeth Murphy, and Blaine Murphy. She is preceded in death by her father Ray Joseph and step father Casey Fisher. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Statham Baptist Church, 1914 Broad Street, Statham, GA, 30666.  Pastor Mike W. Vernatt, II will be officiating.
