Phyllis May Potter

Phyllis M. Potter , age 92, daughter of Cecil and May Hughes, passed away on July 13, 2021 in Braselton, GA.  Phyllis was born in St. Thomas, ND and attended business college after graduating high school.  She married Thomas Potter and they had 2 children, Ross and Peggy.  She worked for Barstow Unified School district for many years before her retirement. They were fortunate to be able to have lived in several locations in the United States.  In 2014 they moved to Braselton, GA to be closer to their daughter Peggy.  Phyllis and Tom had 2 children: Ross (Cyndee) Potter of Corvallis, MT. and Peggy (Ken) Parrish of Braselton, GA.  Also 6 grandchildren: Misty (TJ) Wohltman of Corvallis, MT., Sandi (Kevin) Brookshire of Lawrenceville, GA., Ryan (Carrie) Potter of Corvallis, MT., Bill (Jessica) Parrish of Senoia, GA., Cameron (Katie) Potter of Corvallis, MT., and Jeremy (Rachel) Potter of Corvallis, MT.  She was blessed with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tom, son Ross and her brother, Donald.  A celebration of Phyllis’s life will be scheduled at a later date.
