Richard Harmon Proctor

Richard Harmon Proctor , age 81, of Hoschton passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015. Mr. Proctor was a Navy veteran and was employed with Hartford Insurance for 35 years. He loved to travel, read, and enjoyed following sports. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winder. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Helen Proctor, his son Joel Keith Proctor and wife Kathleen of Dacula; daughter Cindy Baker and her husband Harold of Winter Haven, FL, and daughter Terri Proctor of Miami, FL. Brother Lister Proctor and wife Janice of Sylacauga, AL; sister Clara Kerns of Birmingham, AL, grandsons Duncan Smith, Brandon Proctor, and Sean Proctor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Jebo Barnes will be officiating. Internment will follow at Hoschton City Cemetary with military honors. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
