Richard Dennis “Rick” Owens

Richard Dennis “Rick” Owens , age 66 of Braselton passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020.  Rick moved to Braselton in 2007 before moving the family lived in Lawrenceville.  He owned and operated Owens Equipment Company since 1984.  Survivors include his wife Dawn of Braselton; son Chris Owens and wife Melissa of Braselton; daughter Katie Witcher and husband Jamie of Braselton; brother Gary Owens of Acworth; sister Gail Land of Villa Rica; grandchildren Connor Owens, Olivia Owens, Aidan Witcher.  Rick is preceded in the death by his parents George and Mildred Owens; brother Terry Owens.  Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Cavender Family Cemetery, 3017 Hwy 145, Carnesville, GA 30521.  Officiating is Pastor Russell Page.  Arrangements by Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA 30548, www.lawsonfuneralhome.org, 706-654-0966.
