Rita Faye Moon

Rita Faye Moon, born on June 28, 1961, peacefully passed away on March 23, 2026. She lived a life marked by warmth, kindness, and an enduring love for animals, which brought comfort and joy to those around her.

Rita treasured spending her time engaged in games and puzzles on her phone and tablet, activities that showcased her sharp mind and her enjoyment of life's simple pleasures. Her gentle spirit and playful nature touched many hearts and left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her beloved son, Tank Moon of Monroe, and her daughters, Becky Bogus of Bogart and April Brown, along with her husband Daniel, of Winder. Rita was also a cherished sister to Arnold Bradshaw and his wife Febe of Bethlehem, and Tracey Bailey of Monroe, additionally her side kick and care giver Stephanie Bradshaw. Her family was further blessed by five loving grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who will carry forward her memory with affection and pride.

Rita was predeceased by her brothers William Bradshaw and Michael Bradshaw, and Michael’s wife Dawna along with her sister Vickie Waters. She was also the loving daughter of Albert and Josie Bradshaw, both of whom preceded her in death.

A visitation will be held at Lawson Funeral Home, located at 4532 Highway 53, Hoschton, GA 30548, on March 25, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place in the same location from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Rita Faye Moon’s legacy is one of devotion to family, a genuine admiration for the animal world, and a bright spirit that found joy even in the smallest of daily activities. Her memory will forever be treasured by her loved ones and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
