Robert Charles Tanner

Robert Charles Tanner , age 79, of Auburn passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013.  He loved his family and animals.  He is survived by his wife Margaret Tanner; son John Wesley Tanner of Auburn; daughter Terri Tanner Mote of Auburn; grandchildren Amanda Swords, Courtney Swords Meyer, Angie Mote and Levi Mote; great grandchildren William Meyer, Kaytlynn Meyer, Hannah Meyer, Tyler Bishop, Ayden Watson, Darien Watson, Madison Watson, Tristin Watson and Emma Swords.  He is preceded in death by his son Robert Charles Tanner, Jr.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will be held Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.  The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at the funeral home.
