Royce Mcdaniel

Royce McDaniel, age 75, of Winder passed away Monday, November 19, 2018. He loved fishing, his family, his special foods and wrestling. He enjoyed welding and designing metals, and old westerns. He misses his wife. Survivors include his sons Terry McDaniel and wife Melissa of Arnoldville, GA, Steve A. McDaniel and wife Melissa of Hull, GA, and Billy Ray Casper of Social Circle, GA; daughters Millie Davis and husband Ricky of Winder, Donna Fowler and husband Raymond of Elberton, GA, Tammy Whisnant and husband Bo of Jefferson, GA and Susan McDaniel and husband Ricky Milam of Winder, GA; brother Joel McDaniel of Toccoa, GA; sister Christine Hanley of Toccoa, GA; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Shirley and sons Buck William McDaniel and Royce McDaniel, Jr. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Lamar Kastner and Pastor Joel Shadburn will be officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, November 23, 2018 at the funeral home.
