Samuel Alan Trupiano

Samuel Alan Trupiano, 71, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 1, 2026. Born on September 6, 1954, in Detroit Michigan, Sam lived a life marked by a steadfast faith in Christ and a deep love for his family.

By God's grace, Sam trusted in Jesus Christ alone for his salvation and sought to live faithfully according to His Word. His confidence was not in his own works, but in the finished work of Christ on the cross and the sure promise of eternal life for all who believe. His family rejoices, even in the midst of sorrow, knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Sam was a devoted father and a loving grandfather. He delighted in his family and was thankful for the many blessings God had entrusted to him. He will be remembered for his quiet faith, servant heart, and the care he showed to those around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Doris Trupiano.

He is survived by his daughter, Megan (David) Potter; his beloved grandchildren, Hadley, Declan, and Everett; his brother, Duane (Nancy) Trupiano; his sister, Donna Harms and Keith Anderson; and his brother, Steven Trupiano. He also leaves behind extended family and dear friends who will miss him greatly while rejoicing in the hope of the resurrection.

While we grieve his earthly absence, we do not grieve as those who have no hope. Because Christ has conquered sin and death, all who belong to Him look forward with confidence to the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting.
