Sara Boyd Skinner

Sara Boyd Skinner , age 82, of Winder passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013.  Sara loved God, the beach and cooking.  She is survived by her sons Ken Skinner, Jr. and wife Elaine of Winder, Jonathan W. Skinner, Sr. and wife Judy of Winder; daughter Ruby Elaine Skinner of Winder; former daughter-in-law Gwen Massey of Jefferson; brother Frank Boyd and wife Beverly of Hoschton; sister Lucille Rainey of Stone Mountain; 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband Norman K. Skinner, Sr., 3 brothers and 4 sisters; grandson Jonny Skinner, Jr.  Memorial Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Union Baptist Church, 527 Union Church Road, Winder, GA, 30680.  Pastor Buddy Gordon will be officiating with music by Lisa Huff Martin.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church.  Arrangements by Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA, 30548, www.lawsonfuneralhome.org, 706-654-0966.
