Mrs. Shirley Day

Mrs. Shirley Ann Day , age 69, of Winder, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2011. Shirley loved to cook and garden. She is survived her daughters Sharon “Michelle’ Day and Tommy D. Page of Winder; Miranda Lynn Adams and Phillip E. Adams of Winder; Dana M. Day and Michael R. Rutledge of Winder; Debbie Day and Leo of Monroe; brother Billy Guthrie and Marlene of Fair Oaks, CA; sisters Dorothy Brown and Carlos of Bethlehem; Laverne Bagwell and Beanie of Winder; Brenda Asbury and Jim of Auburn; Teresa Knight and Donald of Homer; Veronica Lee and Buddy of Charlotte, NC; and 6 grandchildren and a host of other relatives. She is preceded in death by her husband Billy Stewart Day. The family received friends from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, December 9, 2011. Funeral services were held 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 10, 2011 with Pastor Garry Crawford officiating. Interment was held at Westlawn Memorial Garden-Walker Park, Monroe, GA.
