Shirley Jean Goodin

Shirley Jean Goodin , age 75, of Winder and formerly Hannibal, Missouri passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016.  Shirley graduated from Hannibal High School.  She was a member of First Assembly of God in Hannibal, MO.  Her hobbies were playing BINGO with her Winder friends, antiquing, gardening and was an avid reader.  She is survived by her husband of 32 years Herbert G. Goodin; son Mark C. Thompson and wife Mary of MO; daughter Brenda K. Haun and husband Del of Lawrenceville; brothers LeRoy Sorrell and wife Shirley Ann of MO, Harold S. “Steve” Sorrell and wife Cathy Jo of Lawrenceville; sister Joan Gurthrie and husband Michael of Buchanan, 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents Samuel Roy Sorrell and Emma Belle Sorrell.  Memorial services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Auburn First Baptist Church, 1385 6th Ave., Auburn, GA, 30011 with the Rev.
