Steven Lee McDaniel , age 47 of Jefferson passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023. Steven loved his Church, listening to gospel music, and cleaning his cars. He is survived by his parents Bobby and Louise McDaniel; sister Crystal Chandler and husband Rickey of Jefferson; nephews T.J. Bishop and Travis Bishop; great nephew Mayson Bishop and his mother Alexis Bishop. Steven is preceded in death by Kenneth Allen Thomas. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Palmer Pace and Rev. Roger Hardy. Interment to follow at Carter Hill Christian Church in Winder. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the funeral home.
