Thelma Annie Ruth Worley

Thelma Annie Ruth Worley , age 71, of Griffin passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013.  Ruth loved gardening, cooking for her family, she loved her church and to sing.  She is survived by her daughters Debra Puckett (Johnny Ray) of Auburn and Pansy Ruth Nichols (James Ray) of Griffin; sisters Sara Lee (Junior Lee) of Pendergrass, Iris Johnson of Auburn; daughter-in-law Jan Worley; grandchildren Kandy Loggins, Andy Johnson, Jessica Worley and Shanna Steeley and 4 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband Millard Worley, son Thomas Timothy Worley, brother Fred Junior Streeman, sisters Francis Roebuck and Joyce Streetman.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Greg McKinney and Rev. Johnny Ray Puckett will be officiating.  Interment will be held at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery, 1910 Sardis Church Rd., Monroe, GA, 30655.  The family will receive friends 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, September 23, 2013 at the funeral home.
