It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Eddie Faulkner “Boobie,” 65, of Winder, Georgia.
Eddie is survived by his brothers, Fred Faulkner, Roy Faulkner, Truman Faulkner, Joe Faulkner, and Roger Faulkner; and his sisters, Voncille Vernon and Robbie Masters. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members who loved him dearly, and of course his favorite pet, Sweet Pea, she became his best friend, she went everywhere with him, she was by his side when he left this world.
He was preceded in death by his father, Emory Faulkner; his mother, Frances Faulkner; his brothers, William Ray Faulkner and Mack Faulkner; and his sisters, Reba Faulkner and Joan Kellum.
Eddie loved hunting, spending time at the deer club, gardening, and watching football and baseball. He worked at the Barrow Sewing Plant for over 20 years and later worked at Johns Manville in Winder for 18 years before retiring.
Eddie will be remembered for his kind heart, his willingness to help anyone in need, and the way he enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved grilling and smoking meat, working in his garden, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a lifelong fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and rarely missed a game.
To know Eddie was to love him, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
