Tommy Evans , age 72, of Auburn, Ga., found eternal rest in the arms of his Savior on Monday, August 4, 2025. He was born on January 16, 1953, in Harlan County, Kentucky, to the late Carl Evans and Lena B. Gibson Evans. Tommy is also preceded in death by the love of his life, Diana Evans; two brothers Danny and Billy Ray Evans; son Tommy Mackenzie.
Tommy leaves behind a son Danny (Amanda) Evans, and two daughters Brandy Dean and Amber (Aleisha) Morris. Also left to cherish his memory are eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his faithful and loyal furbaby, Forest Gump.
Tommy was a hard working man who spent the majority of his life operating heavy equipment. He was one of the realest and honest people you’d ever meet. He was blunt, outspoken, caring, and compassionate. He always had a good story to tell and you were guaranteed to get a good laugh. He made it hard for you not to love him ! Tommy liked to live life on the edge. He rode his Harley all of the way to the end. He enjoyed going to the mountains in his Jeep. He loved his family and friends very much. He was one of a kind and there will never be another one like him.
