Virginia M. Childress

Virginia M. Childress , age 80, of Buford passed away Friday, July 17, 2020.  Virginia loved horses, dogs, all animals.  She has a master degree & taught in TN in Homeric and Biology.  Survivors include her husband Jim Childress; son Michael C. Childress and wife Shelia of Loretto, TN; daughters Cara Childress and husband Mark Walters of Braselton, Tish Harwood and husband Rick Smith of Buford; sister Jackie Carroll and husband Lloyd of Lawrenceburg, TN; grandchildren Lakota Childress, Ezra Childress, Lexi Childress, Brianna Childress, Givliana Baker, Lucas Smith, Cameron Smith Blase Smith, Grace Smith, Gage Smith.  Great great grandchild Liam Henkel.  No services will be held at this time.  Arrangements by Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA 30548, www.lawsonfuneralhome.org, 706-654-0966.
