William Fred Evans , age 79, of Winder passed away Friday, September 21, 2012. Mr. Evans loved the Lord, Nascar and was an Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife Ann Evans; daughters Monica L. Foster and husband Chris, Karen F. Lockhart of Reno, NV; sisters Mary Lake of Burson, CA, Elaine Anberg and husband Bill of Burson, CA; one grandson, four granddaughters and 2 great granddaughters. A Memorial Service will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Lawson Funeral Home, 35 First Street, Hoschton, GA, 30548, 706-654-0966, www.lawsonfuneralhome.org.
